1. Scholarship scams (you don't have to pay for scholarship information)
2. Online Dating scams (individuals will contact you thought the dating site, ask you to take the conversation off the site, and then coerce you to wire them money.
3. Ponzi schemes... still alive and well... people will contact you through churches and other places where you feel safe and ask for investment money(affinity scams)
4. Smishing and vishing. phishing scams over text messages and voice internet protocol.
5. Unemployment scams: Don't pay anyone for a list of jobs.
